  • Hand mixer
  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 14.3 oz package Oreos (about 36 cookies, divided into 24 for the base and 12 for topping)
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 oz Cool Whip thawed
  • 2 3.3 oz boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 cups milk
  • Easter candy such as Peeps, Robin eggs, pastel M&Ms, and sprinkles

Instructions

  • Crush Oreos: Crush about 24 Oreos into fine crumbs and spread them evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Set aside.
  • Make Cream Mixture: In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in the powdered sugar and Cool Whip until fully combined. Set aside.
  • Prepare Pudding: In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened. Let it sit for about 2 minutes to fully set.
  • Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fully combined.
  • Layer the Dessert: Pour the cream mixture over the Oreo crumb layer in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Add Topping: Crush the remaining 12 Oreos and sprinkle them over the top of the cake.
  • Chill and Decorate: Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the layers to set. Right before serving, decorate with Easter candy such as Peeps, Robin eggs, pastel M&Ms, and sprinkles.
