  • 3 –4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cheese of choice like Parmesan or mozzarella OR 4 ounces cheese
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • Fresh basil leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat and Toast Bread: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle both sides with olive oil. Bake for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy but still slightly soft inside.
